I run a couple of small business and have traditionally used personal credit cards for the expenses. I would like to get my utilization down on my personal cards so I can increase my score and refi a couple of cars at lower rates. Is there anything wrong with transferring debt from my personal cards to my business cards (where utilization doesn’t matter)?
Conversely, if after the score raise I increase my personal credit lines, can I transfer the balances back over from my business to take advantage of 0% offers?

I was thinking about this the other day, I used to work in collections and couldnt figure it out. It takes what 7-10 years for bankruptcy to age of your credit, the normal statute of limitations is (in my state) 6 years for credit card debt and 10 years for car notes and such. Why would someone file bankruptcy when it costs so much when they can wait it out? Also if the debtor gets a judgement against them does the creditor always put a body attachment out like they do in small claims personal suits?
Thanks

My husband and I are in debt really bad and we need to withdrawal about 2,000 from his 401(k) in order to prevent lawsuit from these ppl. I’ve been told that we can get a hardship loan for personal reasons but I need to know if that’s true or not. We cannot take out a loan because we cannot afford to have it taken out of his check every week.
Serious answers please. Smart comments will be reported.

Where can I find a Personal Loan with a really bad credit score?
I have a good paying steady job with the best job security(i’m in the Military). im in debt but only because i have all these bills in different places and not enoughf money to pay for all of them, if i had a personal loan for about $5,000-$8,000 i would be more then ok.
My problem is that my credit got really bad(horible) and i have tried just about everyplace online to find a loan, at this point im kind of desperite, i would pay an extremly high inteset rate just to get a loan.
Any ideas can anyone help?
For all those who are Ignorant like HeatherLyn im want a loan to consolidate my Expensise not just spend my money freely…and i am in the military…please people read before you answer and keep your ignorant comments to yourself

Last year I had lost my job and got way behind in my bills. When I found a new job I decided to work with a debt management company to help with my debts. I’ve been with a company about five months and I’m starting to get calls from collectors almost every other day. I thought this company was helping me, but it seems to have made things worse. I decided to drop this company and just make arrangements with the original creditors to start making payments. From my personal view it’s better to work with the original creditors.

Alright, to make a long boring and very aggrivating story for me short, I had a really rough start when I first went to college. I wound up in financial troubles and wasn’t able to attend my classes and wound up kicked out of the university. But now, somehow for reasons unknown, I owe the university I was attending $3000. I paid in advance for every semester I attended. But, now I am trying to go back to a junior college to get my grades up. (but I can’t get a transcript w/o paying the debt). What I would like to know is does anyone know a way to pay this debt off? I don’ t have really any skills so if I got a job, I’d be paying for nothing but daycare and wouldn’t be getting anywhere. We don’t have good credit so I can’t take out a personal loan. I plan on talking to the financial aid office and the university to ask why I owe this debt. But I would also like to know if anyone out there would know of any other suggestions for me. Thanks for your time!

I heard today that there are government grants you can apply for that you can use to pay off your debt. This sounds incredibly far fetched to me and most of my internet research is blatantly shady and scamish. I’m assuming this is too good to be true, but on the off chance it’s not, are there personal grants available from the government?

Americans could learn a lot from working with Jewish people. If a Jew needs a computer, and one has a 1 year warrant and is $300.00 and the other has a 5-year warrant and is $325.00, they’ll almost always buy the $300.00 system. Then they put the extra $25 in their bank account. That’s why most are rich! They would never trade in a paid for running car for a new one with a car payment.
Pat: I’d say $3Billion dollars is a lot of money to hire just 1200 workers.
1500, what ever. That’s $2,000,000/worker. I could do that without putting a bunch of people in debt.
