I have had a rough go the past few years, but things are looking up finally. I need to know the best way to start paying off a mountain of debt. I am in the credit bureau for personal loan, visa, etc, as well I have a huge student loan. Bottom line, I am now able to start paying these things off, but what route would be the quickest? I do not want to go bankrupt as I do want to own a home in the future and am 37 at this point, so time is a huge factor. Any suggestions?

I own a debt settlement company and am sick of BS live transfers. I do not want to robodial (its ILLEGAL) so don’t bother saying that I should. I want TV leads because they seem to be the highest of quality lead type. I just don’t want to get ripped off…. Personal experiences welcome. Thx

This debt collection place called NCO financial is calling me at work for a debt that amounts to less than three hundred dollars. When I called them back to make payment arrangements they were like rude children and would not proceed anywhere unless I gave them personal information ike my SS number or another phone number. I gave them my name and home state but nothing else. When they would not get the personal info they wanted they hung up on me. How do I take care of this without giving them my personal information? I want to pay the debt but I do not want them to have anymore personal info, it seems as if they almost don’t want to resolve the issue.

I checked on line and these NCO people seems very sleazy and tricky.

My boyfriend and I have been together for almost 10 years. We live together and split the bills 50/50. We want to open a joint checking account for our household expenses, while keeping our own accounts for personal expenses. I had some debt issues that I’m still working on. Will my debt by linked to him if we open a joint account?

I’m currently unemployed and waiting for a phone interview to see if I even qualify for unemployment. I was wondering since the economy and finally getting better and that Chase is a bank that is actually doing quite well, would they allow me to take out a small loan of a few thousand to help me pay off some debts and then just pay them monthly on a plan? I would rather owe them money than the courts and hospitals. Has anyone on here done this?

I need help ASAP! I am 24 years old and I have bad credit from mistakes that I made when I was 18. I need to pay off debts, such as my rent that I have fallen behind on because I was on unpaid maternity leave, and some collection agencies. I want to take out a personal loan to pay these debts off and to rebuild my credit but I can’t seem to get approved without a co-signer. What can i do? Can anyone help me?

He didn’t pay his student loans and now the the government has seized his tax return. We are both managing members of a Florida LLC and have a joint business bank account. Can they try to levy the LLC’s bank account as well for his personal debt?
The bank account is titled in the business name aka “BUSINESS LLC” but both are named as owners of the account on the banking account agreement.
