Sadie asked:
I’ve requested a debt collector to quit calling my workplace, however they continue to not only call, but now they are requesting my supervisor which could get me fired. They are telling me that they can legally talk to him despite me telling them that he doesn’t allow personal calls because they need to verify information. Is this true? And how can I make them quit calling my job?

The request via certified mail return receipt.
If you owe money, they can use any lawful method to collect. Instead of bitching, you need to get your debt settled. Explain that if they get you fired, it’s going to get even tougher to pay what you owe!
You need to call your state’s Attorney General at once and stop this companies practice. This is not legal and your state’s AG will stop it action.
