I have always paid my bills on time but now I am trying to get into another field of work and my personal debt is crushing me .It is through nobodys fault but my own, but I have been in car sales for 15 years and I am trying to get out ! Google ACCC. Its the american consumers credit couseling. It’s a great debt program I am in. I had around $10,000 in credit card debt and joined their program. It will be two years in September that I’ve joined and I only owe about $4000 more.
They reduce your interest rate and you just have to pay your minimum payment maximum to pay off your debts.
If your not talking about credit card debt, I’m not sure this will help.
Try to take a second part time job. I worked a part time cleaning job cleaning on the weekends for an extra $200 a week for three years. This allowed me to pull myself out of a crunch into a very good place. It was extremely difficult at times, working full time with kids, and doing this also, but if you are determined you can do it. Also, look around your home for things you no longer use to sell on Ebay. Good luck!
Top priority is to take care of yourself and your family.
If you can’t pay your bills in a timely manner, then consider getting a fresh start by filing bankruptcy.
It is not the end of the world.
